Show vivian pace prince wife ot jos W prince was born in new harmony utah aug 27 1877 she lived in new harmony with her parents until 1887 when they moved to nutrioso arizona her home until 1893 when she came back to bew harmony to live with her father s first wite by request ot her lather she wag in bew harmony until 1896 when she accepted a position as clerk from her uncle at luna new mexico where she remained until early in 1899 when she returned to meet her future husband jos W prince whom she married in the st george temple mar 1 1900 mrs prince was a daughter of allson D pace former bishop of new harmony and lizzie lee pace she was always a devoted and affectionate child and a most devoted and loving wife she has been a patient sufferer and has never been a well bomati though she always looked at the future with a smile and never complained she was the mother of six children five boys and one girl she Is survived by but one child and her husband all through life she was a lover of and a lover of the gospel in all her sickness and operations she could always see loy satisfaction and comfort in the gospel she lived and died with the gospel burning within her full of hope tor the future her greatest pleasure was found in helping those in distress funeral services were held in the st george tabernacle friday afternoon under direction of the east ward bishopric the stand was decorated with a profusion of roses and other flowers also the casket there was a very large attendance many coming from new harmony cedar city hurricane and other places the hyms sung by the choir were farewell all earthly honors and I 1 need thee every hour the following solos were rendered 1 I have read of A beautiful city by mra metta morris when the mists have rolled away byars W 0 bentley jr rock of ages by jos W mcaulister McA Ulster and 0 dry those tears by R pike the opening prayer was offered by elder arthur F miles and by elder jos T atkaln elder albert machla of new harmony spoke of the belt sacrificing nature of the deceased sister abo lived tor others and her greatest joy was in doing good tor others he had known her 20 years and she was always cheerful and hopeful hope tul and was of a very hospitable disposition other speakers were pres geo F whitehead judge D H morris and bishop I 1 C macfarlane they all eulogized the many qualities of the deceased her pleasant and manner while en during much suffering and her thought and caro tor others she was one of gods noble women interment was made in the city the remains being follow ed by 18 autos the grave was covered with flowers tributes to the worth of the departed by many friends who had known and loved her through her life time |
