Show WASHINGTON Mrs. Caddie Neilson Reporter A party was held Tuesday evening eve-ning honoring Vere Hafen and Clifford Prisbrey, who leave Friday Fri-day for military service. The boys are sons of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hafen and Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Prisbrey. The program was under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hall. Antone Prince and Mrs. Antone Neilson joined in entertaining for Mrs. Prince and Mr. Neilson Friday Fri-day evening. The occasion was their birthday anniversaries. Miss Roma Nisson was a week end visitor at Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Reeves and family of Winnemucca, Nev., are . visiting with Mrs. Reeves' j parents, Mr. and- Mrs. Frank Staheli. Darrell Nisson returned home from Las Vegas Wednesday. He spent the past three weeks there. Haven Paxman is a patient at the McGregor hospital. Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Nisson visited vis-ited over the last week end with their children, Mr. and Mrs. Antone An-tone Nisson in Los Angeles and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Nisson in Glen-dale, Glen-dale, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hafen and son, Vere, left Sunday for Spring-ville, Spring-ville, where they will visit with Mr. and Mrs. Max Huff. Mrs. Florence Lamb of Order-ville Order-ville spent from Friday until Sunday Sun-day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Hall. Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Kleinman and daughters, Buelah, Wilma and Dixie, were visitors at the W. O. Nisson home Sunday. Mrs. Mina Sandberg, Mrs. Harold Har-old Cox and Mrs. Ray Spendlove were visitors at Hurricane last week. John Tanner spent Saturday and Sunday here with his family from Boulder City. The D. U. P. meeting of the cotton cot-ton factory camp was held at the home of Mrs. Bert Hall last Thursday. Mrs. Susan Prisbrey acted as co-hostess. Mrs. Willard Neilson entertained entertain-ed the I. O. M. club Friday afternoon after-noon with honors for high score in Rook going to Mrs. Vilate Neilson Neil-son and consolation to Mrs. Kate Adams. Mrs. Minnie Covington of St. George was visiting with relatives her last Sunday. |
