Show Funeral Services To Be Held In Salt Lake City Friday for E. M. Mansfield Funeral services for Ephraim M. Mansfield, 85, who died Tuesday Tues-day at his home, will be held Friday Fri-day at noon in the Richards ward chapel, in Salt Lake City, under direction of Bishop Harry T. Os-carson. Os-carson. He was born March 8, 1855, on a steamboat on the Mississippi, while his parents, Matthew Mans"-field Mans"-field and wife were traveling north from Louisiana to join a caravan of L. D. S. converts to Utah. The family lived at Mill Creek then came on to St. George in 1861, where he grew up and became well known for his activities. He served on two missions for the L. D. S. church. His wife, Margaret L u c i n d a Famsworth died in 1934. Besides five children, he is survived sur-vived by one sister, Mary Mansfield Mans-field Bentley of this city, who with her son, William O. Bentley will attend the services Friday. |
