Show Services Held For Goidie Maree Harris Bishop Byron H. Taylor of the Center ward, conducted the funeral fun-eral services in the St. George stake Tabernacle, Saturday, Feb. 5th at 4:30 p. m., for Goidie Maree Harris, two-year-old daughter of Lieut, and Mrs. Grant B. Harris, who died Sunday, Jan. 30 of acute kidney trouble. Mrs. Mae A. Pace presided at the organ. Music numbers included in-cluded two choruses, "Sometime We'll Understand", and "Bring Heavy Your Heart To Me", by the Center ward singing mothers, directed by Mrs. John L. Clarke; vocal trio, "The Moon Hangs Low In the Purple Sky", Mrs. Wm. E. Baker, Mrs. Howard Starr and Mrs. Clarke, and violin solo, "Largo", Mrs. Ellis Everett. Speakers were Leland Hafen, a close neighbor and Vernon Wor-thenr Wor-thenr of the stake presidency, both of whom paid tribute to the families connected and expressed solace and comfort to those bereaved. Prayers were by William Brooks and W. W. McArthur. Burial was in the St. George cily cemetery, the grave being dedicated by Samuel Sam-uel Brooks of Salt Lake City. |
