Show YOUTH OIES OF GUNSHOT WOUND Accidental Discharge of .22 Rifle Causes Death from Rloocl Poisoning. Jasper Stock, 11-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Stock, died at Cane Beds Friday night from blood poisoning caused by a gunshot wound in his foot Thursday morning. The accident happened when the boy and his older brother, John, 13, were out hunting rabbits. rab-bits. The younger boy was carrying car-rying the gun, a .22 rifle, when it was accidentally discharged the bullet striking him in the left foot, and going through his heel. He was taken to the home of a neighbor, his parents being be-ing away at the time, and was given first-aid treatment. His condition was not considered dangerous until Friday night when he became seriously ill, and- he died suddenly of blood poisoning. Funeral services were held at Cane Beds Sunday and the body was taken to Cannonville for interment. His mother was at that place seriously ill at the time of the accident. |
