Show IAGED PIONEER OFJLXIE DIES Mrs. Mary S. Maudsley Passed Away Here Sunday Morning. Mrs. Mary S. Maudsley passed away here Sunday morning, death being attributed to ailments of old age. Mrs. Maudsley was born February Feb-ruary 1. 1845. at Dardisheim, Prussia, the daughter of Frederick and Sophia Fuhrmeistcr. She was baptised in April 1857, and in 1860 came to Utah with her parents. par-ents. In July, 1801, she was married to Henry J. Maudsley of Salt Lake City and in 1865 the couple came to St. George to make their home. To this couple were born thir-i thir-i teen children, four of whom survive. sur-vive. They are Elizabeth Prisbey. Washington; Fidelia Baker, St. George; Joseph E. Maudsley. Al-jberta, Al-jberta, Canada, and Isabel Kemp, Ogden. Two brothers also survive. They are Ephraim ForemaMor, St. George and Joseph Forcmaster. Las Vega. Funeral services were held Monday. Mon-day. December 1. in the tabernacle, taber-nacle, with Bishop F. G. Miles of the South ward presiding. A quartet, consisting of Wm. T. Morris, Henry Chamberlain, Geo. P. Lytle, and George T. Thompson sang O, My Father. Prayer, Jos. T. Atkin. The quartet sang Sometime ! We'll Understand. Piano solo. Miss Evelyn Thurston. Thurs-ton. Vocal solo, Mrs. LcRoy II. Cox. i The speakers were Samuel I! licit. li-cit. C. F. Foster.
