Show SERVICES HELD FOR VERA TIIAYNE HALL WASHINGTON, April 29 Mrs. Vera TUayne Hall, 33, died here Saturday, April 27, after an illness ill-ness of four days with spinal meningitis. Because of the nature of the disease, a public funeral was not held but short graveside services were conducted with Bishop Wallace Wal-lace Iverson in charge. Musical numbers were rendered by the Washington choir. The opening prayer was given by William Tobler and the speakers were: Victor Iverson, Counselor John Tanner and Bishop Iverson, each of whom spoke of the perfection of; her career here upon earth and of her loving work as a mother Of six children. Benediction was given by First Counselor, Karl Larson and the grave in the Washington cemetery was dedicated dedi-cated by Calvin Hall, Sr. Many j floral offerings showed the large j number of friends the family had. Mrs. Hall was born in Washington, Wash-ington, Utah, May 27, 1901 and! was married December 27, 1922, to George A. Hall, Jr. Later being be-ing sealed in the St. George Temple. Tem-ple. When she was stricken, her husband was employed by the TJ. S. bureau of public roads near Spokane, Washington. He came home by plane, arriving shortly before her death. She is survived by her husband hus-band George Albert Hall, and six children, Ferrel 11, Lorna 9, Kelley 7, Wanda 5, Clora 3, and j lone 2 months old. Also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geoge Thayne, of Washington and the following sisters: Mrs. Vida Whitney, Whit-ney, Mapleton; Mrs. Mildred Berry, Ber-ry, Cedar City; Mrs. Cecil Murry, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Sadie Neilson, Phea Hannig and Mayme Thayne, all of Washington, Utah. |
