They resided in Utah for several years said lived in many other states before settling down in Riverton, Wyoming, where they have lived for the past twenty-seven years. Lois’ first love was her sweetheart Max, her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Lois loved to hunt and fish with her husband, her hobbies included quilting, crocheting, sewing, bird-watching, gardening, reading, and living life to its fullest. She was preceded in death by her parents, her wonderful sis Leda, two little nieces, and two nephews. Survivors for this cherished lady include her husband Max, children, Carla Evans, Vickie Carlson and her husband Mitch, Tom Evans and his wife Wendy, and Maureen Evans and her fiancé Mike Linden, all of Riverton. Grandchildren include Gina Tessman, Justin Sullivan, Ginger Harford, Tawnya Larson, Tisha Kennel, Teresa Carlson, Bill Carlson, Missy Carlson, Rebecca Evans, Sarah Evans, Tom Evans, Carlie Porter, and Candice Porter. Great-grandchildren include Shadow, Cody, Dillon, Mariah, Jayson, Kayla, Leslea, Miranda, Garrett, Tel, ‘Katherine, Kaylee, and Jordan. Also surviving Lois is her precious brother Cullen Batty and tara, and a special friend Leona Anderson of Riverton. | . My. sweetheart Lois, we will dear miss ‘you, Love Max. Funeral services were held on March. 5 at 11 AM at the Wallsburg LDS Chapel. Burial followed in the Wallsburg Cemetery i in the care of the Olpin-Hoopes Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations are being excepted for Shriner’s Children transport fund in care of: Richard & Shirley Fowler 1024 Sierra Dr ce Riverton, WY 82501. | | | | | i oO BIT U A R Y Elga Lindsay Briggs Elga Lindsay Briggs, age 80, died Feb. 21 in ‘Pleene. AZ. She was born Feb. 19, 1921 in Heber, UT to Thomas Payne and Lovina Bunnell Lindsay, the eighth of ten children. Elga married Archie Alonzo Briggs, Aug. 15, 1937. They moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1954 and are the parents of four children. Elga was a member of the Church of Jesus Chirst of EUG | day Saints. She is survived by sons: Tichurd (Lois) ‘Baers Guy Briggs: daughter Karen Marstellar, all of Phoenix; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; brothers: Tommmy (Valerie) Lindsay, Heber, UT., Grant (Audrey) Lindsay, Fruitland, UT, and sisters: Thelma Mair, Heber, UT, Dora Helen (George) Dipo, Salt Lake City, UT, and numerous nieces and nephews. Elga was preceded in death by her husband, Archie; parents; and daughter, Deanna Helen Valandingham; brothers, Wallace, Vern, Hal, and Edward; and sister Edith Dipo. Services will be held Friday, March 9 at 10 am at ap Lake Creek Ward Chapel, 715 E. 600 S., Heber, UT. Internment.at Heber City Cemetery. |
