All of the action takes place in the woods sur- rounding the theatre. The audience follows the actors from set to set as the actors bring a wonderful childhood memory to life. This is a good thing for children and parents alike as the play captures the attention of even the youngest theatre goer with the great story as well as the opportunity to follow the actors ie t rough their little journey. Granted, one of the Tables challenges of live theatre is Mother Nature and her propensity towards a lack of cooperation. But Thursday night at Sundance's outdoor Summer Daily Lunch & Dinner Specials loose. Now, by all accounts, Oliver!, set in dreary London in the 1850s, should have been made that much better by the cold, dreary rain. What else does it do in London? However, Sundance's Oliver! was hindered, not helped. Call me whiny, but the play should have been canceled.
