Quite the contrary, W1.G. is about going out and doing. WIG. is about taking control of the wheel and paving your own destiny. Gasperini’s decision to start W.I.G. didn’t come overnight. For years, she worked as a staff writer, freelance writer, and editor of big out. W.I.G.’s creative director is a graphic -designer in New York. Their music critic lives in Seattle. They all hold down real jobs. Gasperini still waits tables two night a week. They all have to pay rent. : Gasperini moved to about four years ago.
