Show Pip eeagg apf ree Make-Up Scheduled At the recent January 18 Board of Education Meeting, the Wasatch County Board of Education formally approved March 17 as the make-up day for teachers, necessary because of the teacher job action taken earlier in the fall of 2000. Monday, March 19 was approved as a make-up day for students, made necessary by the earlier teacher job action. These make-up days are necessary becasue students must attend school, by Utah law, for 180 days per year and teachers will receive these funds and any additional . funds available under this ae of the _ program. Under the terms of the tai from the National Board, local governmental or private voluntary organizations chosen to receive funds must ‘meet the following criteria: be nonprofit, have an accounting system and conduct an annual audit, practice nondiscrimination, have demonstrated the capability to deliver emergency food and/or shelter programs, and have a voluntary board if need their make-up day on Saturday March 17 to fulfill their contract obligations.
