A. Anderson of the Utah National Parks Council, Provo, inspired scouts and scouters of the Sharon district, gathered Sunday night at Vineyard, with the wonderful mission and accomplishments of scouting when the District Court of Honor was held that night. Many advancements and awards were made to the scoutk, Under the direction of Advancement Chairman Arnold BurnlDgb&m, who gave star awards to Verl Jacobs, Wayne Hebertsen, and Lee Bishop, and a Life award to Walter Bigler. Merit badges were presented oy District Commissioner Milton Bellows to Jack Meldrum, Keith Jolley, Walter Bigler, Clyde and LeRoy Williamson, Kenneth Madsen, Milo and Sheldon Madsen, Vern aDd Herbert Stratton, Wayne Hebertsen, Delbert Mills, Guy Cordner, Lee Bishop, Eldcin Harding, aud Gordon Hansen. First class badges were awarded to Delbert Mills, and Wayne Gammon, and Second class to Alvin Harding. Milton Holdaway, chairman of the Vineyard Troop committee, presented the Troop charter to Scoutmaster Clyde Holdaway, and registration certificates to Bishop Hebertsen and C. M.
