The following is a quotation from the current numThe typical farmer of the middle west is a staunch individualist. Yet no where will you find a man more eager to be taught or more willing to make sacrifices for cooperathe ventures. This spirit has made these states the most nearly independent of any in the United States. Lack of cooperation is felt most in the Rocky Mountain states. As a result most of the goods are imported and the region is continually squeezed by eastern capitalists. The above quotation ought to make the people in our Mormon communities blush. We of all people in the world should be good cooperators. In challenging this statement written in the Readers Digest we hope next year to be able to send an article telling of the successful completion of the beautiful auditorium built in a small rural community by cooperation. On two occasions we have had a request from this magazine for an article telling about Scera. We hesitated to meet this request until we have completed the building that will be headquarters for our organization and can house adequately our program. Lets show them proof that the Spirit of Brigham Young is not dead. ber of Readers Digest, WINDSOR (Mrs. Ferry Nielson - Reporter) A baby girl arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ascii Marrott Wednesday morning, March 27th.
