The new and old members realize fully the responsibility placed upon them, and have agreed to be true Tigerettes. The new members of the club are as follows: Nadine Park, Hazel Terry, Ellen Bone, Jena V. Hausen, Mabel Christenson, Mary Jean Skinner, June Gregory, Wilma Wisoomb, Josephine Booth and Geraldine Memmott. Those members must be familiar with the ideal of their organization and always be stirring to better the.n-elre- s and the conditions of their organization. Our high school is a very important organizatioyi vAth each student an important member. The success of our high school depmds on how well those members f'dl their place in this organization. Lincolns 38-3- 9 i New Vocational Guidance Classes Lincoln Holds First Assembly The 7th and 8th grades of the Lincoln High school are taking Vocational Guidance from Mr. Greener a new teacher of the Lincoln High. This is the firsts year that this study has been given in the Lincoln High school. Bt ause of the delay of books for this class they have been discussing the things which will prepare them best for their vocation such as: Is their health suitable for what they chose Can they get education for itT I suppose that the senior high is wondering why they do not get this study. If they have as hard a time getting it as I had to get an interview with Mr. Greener they will never get the study, because they will never catch up with him. admitted Gosh, Im scared, Garth Boyce in his speech at thq first assembly on Fnaay 18. Garth, our new president, had Just received the school key from our Kent Fielding, and was giving his plans for the school year. Garth talked as though he meant business and If he keeps his promise his success is assured. Other features of the program were: musical numbers including songs by Norma Dunford, Clark Johnson and Clementina Calder, and two numbers by the bjnd; talks by Mr. Warntck and Mr. Greener, our new coach; dramatic reading by Beth Brereton and prayer by June Gregory.
