Lincoln Band In New Uniforms , Back To School Gaily attired In their new suits after three months of being Fanner Johns and Kitchen Kates, we return to school for nine months of studying and social contacts, to gain fer ourselves some little knowledge of the finer things that life has to offer us, providing we work for them. Each of ns should come with an attitude of helpfulness Well, to ourselves, our classmates, and our teachers; to make this truly a successful year. We should begin the year 1938 wjth a strong determination to strive to attain each bit of knowledge that is within our reach. Miss Brimhall represented Brigham Young university at the Rocky Mountain Forensic conference In oratory and won the Heber J. , Grant Oratorical contest In 1938. Between sophomore and junior years at college spent two years in Eastern States Mission, specifically in New "York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Miss Edith Marsh, also a Junior high English "teacher Is a native of our own district and lives In Alpine. Miss Marsh was a grad- uate of the Brigham Young university where she was interested in Sociology and English. She spent her summer vacation in Kansas City, Missouri.
