Show I THE VOICE Two alii' Ilnur nf gliartw f Published Monthly bv Sharon Cooperative Educational and Recreational Box 252-Provo R. F. D. No. 2 : Association Orem. Utah This incident reveals how impressed many membthe churchare with the Security Program and its purposes. We hope the members of Sharon Stake will check their records with respect to their fast offering payments. This should be done now, as it may be a considerable burden later in the year to try to make up f.ir contributions which have been overlooked earlier. ers. of ur records show that Sharon Stake is a long a $1.00 per capital fast offering fund, ami unless we renew our efforts and gie generous contributions between now and the first of the year, we are likely to fall short of last years contributions. We sincerely hope and trust that all 'members of the Church will give serious consideration to I hat matter am) w ill observe the fa- and donate generously to this worthy program. With war threatening the world and with conditions in our own country changing rapidly, it seems to u- - that every Church member sjiould do his utmost to provide security for himself and family and for other Church members who may not he so fortunate. Watkins pointed out that this association is a genuine cooperative and that unwhich like many coooperatives have been organized in the past, it had proceeded to use the greatest of caution in its financial affairs and in keeping everything in good shape at all tmes. he stated, "The iifanagement, "has made an outstanding record in this regard and it is one reason for the confidence people have in the Association. Maiiy cooperatives have failed through loose financial management, so the record made by this Association is especially reassuring because of the accurate way in wht. its affairs have been handled. The man with wealth should give and share with others, that he, too, may receive the full benefits, for it is more blessed to give than to receive." Be Security Conscious. A spirit e.f love and should be so developed in each quorum and ward, that when one is out of employment he would desire immediately to get in touch with the Ward Work Director or Bishop. If the ward cannot place hint in' private employment, or on church projc(ts7 then the Stake, Region, or the General Commitmust keep busy. tee Everyone over eighteen should be Church Security Conscious, and working, and when Ibis condition is reached, there should be no poor in the ward or the church.
