Other features of the day are to be the election of a Miss Popularity, a Miss Personality, and Campus Sweetheart, which are to be honored at the Ball in the evening. The ball will be given by the girls' Girls Choice and organization will be carried on through out the evening. There will not be the trading of dances before hand. With the continuation of the plans now under way, girls day will no doubt be tlie most successful in years. Shower Rooms Near Completion Lincolns new shower and locker rooms will soon be ready for use. The rooms have been constructed and plastered and are now being finished in the inside. New doors have been cut leading into the shower rooms front halls upstairs and down. When the addition has been fin- - ished, students will have access to 11 new showers upstairs not including one private shower booth, and the same downstairs. There will be a large room for lockers and dressing. The school building has been somewhat disrupted as a result of the construction work, including misplaced lockers, old plaster and ladders protruding into halls and 12 workmen rushing about. It will be three weeks until it will be all finished. See The INTERNATIONAL y2 HUMOR.... On trying to make a survey on Lincoln High students flower favorites, we find that from every thirty students questioned on this subject, 26 favor roses. Of the 26, 10 like red roses and nine pink roses. The remaining number chose white and various shades other than pink and red. Just taking a guess at why sometimes a teacher is so pleasant and other times so very disagreeable, we conclude that private life and strife just dont mix with school teaching. Some mornings we sit in our class rooms and say, There is nothing like school. And then other mornings when we come into the same room our smiles disappear. One look at the teacher seems sufficient to give us the idea that something mist have happened to him and that the least little jar will upset things like a stick of dynamite.
