Repeated Promises The delegation also pointed out that repeated promises had been made by the old State Road Commission to have this project made number one on Its list, but nothing further had been done after the partial Jwrd surface on the Vineyard to Orem end of the road. The road, It was stated, had been incorporated by the Legislature In the days of Elmer Holdaway, representative from this locality, as a part of the state highway system and from that time on delegations had met with both County Commissioners and State Highway Commissioners urging that this road be completed Delegation Present The meeting was held in the Commission rooms in the State Capitol at Salt Lake City.
