Miss Reva Cordner and Miss Lucille Farley attended the wedding reception of Mr. and Mrs. George' Taylor in Salt Lake City Friday evening. Mrs. Taylor was forinci ly Miss Helen Whiteley, a close friend and school mate of these girls at the Brigham Young university. Rex Steele is home again after spending some time at the L.D.S. hospital where he received treatment for a badly fractured arm. After an operation to fasten the broken bone in place, the ttendmg physicians have hopes for complete recovery. The Pleasant View Primary presented a very successful program in the farm of an amateur hour last Friday in the ward amusement hall. Children of the Primary competed for prizes, which went to Donna Ashton and Nira Colvin for first, Donald Muhlestein for second and Rulon Cluff third. Numerous added attractions were piven also. Mrs. Edith Buckner of Magna, Mrs. Claude Brown and family and Lari Buckner of Salt' Lake visited at the A. E. Phillips home last week. Mrs. Thomas Wells who has been seriously ill at her home since Monday is slightly improved. Miss lola Sorenson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Sorenson, is recovering at her home from cuts and bruises suffered in an automobile accident Saturday evening, when the automibile in which she was riding collided with a horse. Mrs. Gilbert Richardson is improving. She had the misfortune of breaking her leg while working at the Gillman packing house. Mrs. Victor Johnson, who has been suffering with pheumonia' the past two weeks, is rapidly recovering. Mrs. Vern Keetch, who gave birth to a little son on Nevember 1st is seriously ill at the L. D. S. hospital. Mrs. Keetch before her was Bessie .Young, marriage daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. Young of Li tdon. She was a graduate of the Lincon high school. The community hope and pray for her speedy recovery. Roy Harris who was kicked by a horse is much improved. Mr, and Mrs. Harold Hanson were given a very pleasant surprise party Saturday evening by a number of friiiiL. A Relief Society shower will be livid Friday at the home of MfS. Robert Wright. All Relief Society members are urged to be present and bring something to donate for the bazaar, which will be held on December 8th. Correlation for all meeting ward officers was held Wednesday evening at the church house. Ward conference will be held Sunday. The Bishopric is very desirous of a full church. , The M. I. A. Drama festival of the Stake will be held at the Pleasant Grove High School November 29th and 30th, The Windsor Ward will present the one-aplay entitled, The Nine Lives of Emily, with the following cast: Carol Harris, Alice Anderson, Zola Kirk, Reva Marrott, Brown Hales, Perneal Shoell and Lloyd Lauder. M.I.A. Drama Directors, Reva Marrott and Beth Anderson have this play in charge. The M. Site was assisted bv two student directors, Stella Bounotis and Gladys Hurst. The jlavs were well received aid Mtss Wagers and her students are to be highly complimented. Mrs. C. O. Myers of Craig, Colorado, visited for a few days with her brother Mr. Ralph Meldrum and family. Mrs Eliza Stewart returned to her home in Salt Lake after spending some time with Mr and Mrs. Allen Stewart. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Meldrum and Mr. and Mrs. William Hall had their young daughters named at the monthly fast meeting. The babies were given Ibe names of Donna Merlene Mvldntm and Norma Lavern Hall. Mr. and Mrs. - Mien Stewart in Salt Lake spent the week-en- d visiting with relatives and friends. The Social Da-- ring club opened the season with a gala dance on the 6th of November. A lovely bridal shower was riven in honor of Miss Ellen Pulsipher by her mother, Mrs. Margaret Pulsipher and her sisters, Mrs. Clarence Schumann and Mrs. d Pyne. A delightful evening was enjoyed by forty-fiv- e friends of the bride. A delirious luncheon was served and many useful and beautiful gifts were received. The M. Men and Gleaner Girls enjoyed a delicious pheasant dinner in the ward amusement hall last Wednesday evening. If was a cooperative affair, with the fellows getting the pheasants and the girls preparing the meal. Many clever toasts were given and an enjoyabl time was had by all.
