These teams have not been participating heretofore. However, they started their season of play with a bang, the men's team beating the strong Windsor outfit, and then to finish the day, the Vine-ya-- d girls team defeated a group of Windsor girls who are not regulars, but fine players. Part of the latter game was softball and the last half turned into a kickball contest. The Vineyard girls excelled in both divisions. It looks a little as though they had been saving up their energy to take everybody in camp. The next surprise in order is to see Grand View or Lake View diop in some sunny afternoon. We are ready for anything. 10th Episode STUCK IN THE STICKS One department of Scera which has never lacked for patronage is the picture show program. At the high school auditorium four times a week large crowds have attended the shows and patronage seems to be increasing right along. The reason is, no doubt, that Manager Anderson has provided an outstanding program, the cream of the output from all of the great producing companies, including R.K. O., Pox, Twentieth Century, M. G. M., United Artists, Paramount, Columbia, Warner Brothers, Monogram and Republic. The weather also lias been particularly suitable to the summer picture program of the cool evenings. be-ia- Interest in play ground activities and in swimming and dancing inci eases every day.
