Final results of the contest have not been completed to date. Due to the lateness of secretarys reports the Stake Board members could not make final returns. The results will be furnished later in complete form. Committees collecting books report that people who never attend In Sunday Sch ol gave liberally. the three cards above mentioned ovtr 500 books of outstanding merit were collected, and approximately 500 magazines, Splendid cabinets have been installed, librarians appointed, and all hooks carefully checked, listed, and index files are under way. Appointed files will also be made so that teachers may readily find materials they need. And the finest thing about these libraries is that nearly all the books are Chuich books of merit. Practically every book published by the Church is found in these libraries, and many other outstanding referenc.s aic to be found. Fiction, histories, commentaries the arts, current magazines, Standard Words and Church references aie numerous. The Board feels that there isnt a home library in the entire Stake that can compare in number, variety, merit and usefulness. The wards are to be complimented on the fine showing they made. The net good and value of these libraries will be of untold value to teachers, pupils and parents, if rightly used and cardd for. The Stake Board will make two awards, one for the libraries, and one for attendance. The W'ards are permitted to make their own selections for prizes, and these will be given later. May the new year bring us renewed strength and added joys in our work. Outlines of a new program for all quorums of the Aaronic Priesthood are now in the hands of the printers. It is expected that they will be ready for distribution by January 1. The outlines, a distinct departure from those of tlife past few years, are devoted to an intensive study of ' the Aaronic Priesthood. Special chapters include its history, its restoration, its duties and responsibilities and the application of the principles of priesthood to the lives of all members of the quorums. An effort hat been made to make a practical application of the spirit of the priesthood in the daily lives of its members, with a view to offset the increasing temptations of a modern world. The lessons for January are of a practical nature and are designed to lay a foundation for the balance of the year.
