Director of Health District No. 4 One Hundred and Fifty crippled children from Health District No. IV will be examined at Provo on Thursday and Friday, II 1 SHRIVERS CRiPFLED King and IN A Qood Job Done! Their Majesties, the King and Queen of the British Empire, know and have relished the luscionsneea of Utah County strawberries. After their Majesties return home, one of the pleasant memories will be the large toothsome strawberries served at the White House, when guests of the President, last Friday morning. It is reported, that president Roosevelt made mention of the fact that the strawberries came Air Express from Utah Connty, Utah, as a token of esteem from the people of Utah County! The Provo Junior Chamber of Commerce, the Orem and Pleasant Grove Cham- bers of Commerce and all others participating, are to be congratulated over the pleasing results. President Sherman Christensen, president of the Provo Junior Chamber of Commerce, assisted hy Ross Wight, are to be highly commended for carrying the enterprise through to such a splendid conclusion. The size of the berries sent to the White Honse for the Royal guests breakfust were a surprise to all who saw them. Long may the King and Queen remember their glorious reception and especially remember their pleasant experience in eating the large delirious strawberries from Utah Connty. No action was taken on the suggestion of having a Utah County Strawberry Week" which to many minds would have been a fitting climax to the publicity received from sending the Berries to Washington, and from Pleasant Grove's mammoth Strawberry Day. It is to be hoped that following the splendid publicity Utah County has received, that plans for' a permanent cooperative organization may get under way to efficiently handle all of Utah County fruit and vegetable products. It is necessary that such an organization have sufficient financial backing and managed by men of known ability and character. The crux of the thing is to raise quality products, establish a fair price for grower and consumer and then the sales ability to market our products where people appreciate quality as against price. It takes men with brains, determination and administrative ability to do the job. We have uch men in Utah County if they ran be gotten together. s Just a thought in closing Why not that liven ire Orem Chamber of Commerce hold a Short inand Cake banquet vite all of the County grower, industrial, professional and educational BIG WIGS at so much a plate, give a first, second and third prize to wives of the growers for the best strawberry cake Strawberry furnished, Oh Boy! wont the Big Wigs become Utah County Strawberry conscious! recognition of the cordialty and good will which prevails between two great nations, significant of the fact that friendship could exist between two countries since both are without fear" President Roosevelts Interpretation of the Royal visit to America last week. !" f'" ) J. ncyrr tvi Relief Society f SEARCH YOUR To Hold Final Meet For The Right Home May End With This Fourth ward relief society are urged to attend the final meeting for the season on Tuesday at the Fourth ward chapel, announces Mrs. P.
