Windsor Old Folks Wedding Reception Given for Newlyweds To Re Feted Feb. 14 very prettily arranged wedding reception aas given Saturday evening in the Timpanogos ward hall by Mr. ..nd Mrs. David L. Rowley Sr., honoring Mr. and "'firs. Melvin Thurman (Clara RowTejc) who were married in the Salt Lake Temple, February 2nd. The bride was attractively dnssed in white satin, and wore a bridal veil. Mrs. Mary Rowley was matron of honor, and the following friends acted as brides maids: Helen Thurman, Ella May Adams, Jennene Thomas, Melba Edwards and Mrs. Arden Rowley. Arden Rowley acted as best man. In the recei.ing line in addition to the bridal party were Mr. and Mrs. Ravid L. The flag ceremony was given by the troop and talks were given by the following boys: Gail Loveless: Gordon Hansen; Richard Bigelow; and David Asay; and by d Bishop Roy Gappmayer, C. Larsen, and Scout commissioner Charles Robbins. The scout oath was given by Richard Nimer; Guy Cordner; Jack Rohbock; and Leon AlkenT The scout laws were given by the following boys: Billy Burr, Booth Mavcock, Larry Kitchen, David Asay, Dan Bigelow, Richard Nimer, Shirley Johnson, Gordon DeLange, LaMar Edwards, Jack Rohbock, Guy Cordner, and Wes- Lange, Lamar Edwards, Jack Rohbock, and Guy Cordner. Gail Loveless was awarded a star badge and Clyde Robbins a life badge. Church services next Sunday evening will be conducted by the Home Missionaries laboring in the ward. Dr. Kelly who recently acted as president of the German mission will be the speaker. Four babies were named In fast meeting last Sunday. They were; Carolyn May, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elden Anderson; Dale T. son of Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Wilson; Gary E., son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jones; and Larry Grant, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kent Johnson. Mrs. John- Lundhal went to Los Angeles last week to visit her daughter Evelyn who has been seriously ill. Mrs. Francis Gurney and children of Ephraim visited with her sister, Mrs. C. W. Larsen.
