The number of members in tendance to the Salt Lake temple during January from Sharon Stake were 128. No. of Endowments, 173; Sealings of couples, 130; Children to parents, 95; Baptisms, 551. There were 29 members in attendance at the Stake Genealogical Union meeting held in the Seminary building Sunday, Feb. 20, 1938. The following program was under the direction of the Grandview ward genealogical committee. Two musical numbers were rendered by the ladies Before Thee, chorus, entitled: Lord, I Bow My Head" and The Lord is My Shepherd", accompanied by Annie Jolley. Bryant H. Jolley was the .speaker. Benediction by Maud G. Rowley. There were 43 members from Sharon Stake in attendance to the Senior excursion at Salt Lake temple held Wednesday, Feb. 9th. Ordinances performed included: 67 Endowments; 19 couples sealed and 22 Children sealed to parents. Sharon Stake President A. V. Watkins and wife, accompanied by Presidents Blake and Bigler and their wives, and the majority of the high council members of the stake and their wives journeyed to the Salt Lake Temple Wednesday making a company of some 22 couples for the evening session. Mrs. Allen Bellow'S and son Wayne visited Bishop Bellows Sunday at the hospital at Salt Lake and report him very much Improved. Mr. and Mrs. Roy E. Park entertained at dinner Monday evening for Mrs. Julia C. Burr, Mr. Orson Burr and Mrs. Erne Millett. Mr. Burr was guest of honor Tuesday evening, his birthday anniversary, at the home of his mother, Mrs. Julia Burr. Guests were his brother and sisters. He left Wednesday for Salt Lake L. D. S. hospital where ue Ts to receive treatment. Beth Park entertained Thurs- day evening for Diana Nuttall whose birthday occured on that day.
