The banquet will begin at 7 oclock and patrons of the evening will be the mutual officers and the stake M Men and Gleaner leaders. Preliminary elections for the Gold and Green queen were held last Monday night. All Gleaner Girls were eligible and all Mutual members were allowed to vote. The three girls who received the largest number of votes are candidates for queen. Those girls were: Mary Gillespie, Ora Baum and Final voting Virginia Glazier. for the queen will continue for two weeks. Votes may be bought for lc each. They may be had from the M. I. A. Presidents or Activity leaders. Come out to mutual and vote for your candidate. Mrs. John Yates had as her visitors last week her sisters and brothers-in-laMr. and Mrs. J. W. Birlerley and Mr. and Mrs. M." E. Newbold, both from Wasatch county. The basketball team was entertained at a lovely party last Tuesday evening by the M Men and Gleaner girls. The party was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sharp Gillespie, The evening was spent in playing games and the following gentlemen succeeded in winning prizes: Roy Hawkins, Milton Billows, LaMar Bunnell and Alta Mecham. After the games a delicious luncheon was served to forty-tw- o guests. Grandview ward presented a lovely three-ac- t play to a receptive audience last night In the w'ard amusement hall.
