Goal posts and tiny foot balls made of candy were the favors, small football banners were employed and foot balls tied with bright cellophane bows were at the table ends. The foot ball team presented to a beautiful Warnick Principal wallet and key case, to express their appreciation of the enthusiasm he has shown towards the team this year. FACTS ABOUT OUR FOOTBALL BANQUET pre-seas- e We heard a lot of secrets about Mr. Dixon at the football banquet. It seems he tries to rule the roost, but Mrs. Dixon, having different ideas, grabs the broom, Mir. Dixon leaps under the bed and peace reigns once more. Did you notice how Mr. Warnick kept his mouth shut (except for eating purposes) and his eyes on his own plate? It was the influence of that charming woman seated next to him, his wife. Lewis Wells and Mary GHles-pie- ? Why yes, if thats who your looking for, youll find them in that room there, the one without any lights. That red glow around Mary fonders place was just the reflection from her blushes. It seems Mr. Dixon overheard a conversation between her and Don with Don suggesting that after they were married hed be allowed to warm his feet on her back.
