It was found in the school budget that the school district had not allowed us any i toney for our school publiThis meant that it would be necescation, The Lincoln Live Wire. sary for the students to pay for each issue of the Live Wire they received. However, the Board of Directors of SCERA came to our aid. Through their courtesy, we are allowed to use one page of their paper for our publications. We will have this privilege once a month without cost. This page will give us as much room as we have had in many of our Live Wires. After considering arguments, both pro and con, the council decided to accept this privilege. At the end of the school year, depending upon the wishes of the students, either a commencement issue of the Live Wire or a year book will be published. It is hoped that enough students will want the year book to justify its publication. This will not be attempted unless the majority of the students will subscribe for it. This question is to be settled at a student body meeting that is to be held in the near future. We are very grateful to th e Board of Trustees of SCERA for granting us this privilege. sio, fullback; Arlo Kitchen, center. FOOTBALL SEASON OPENS Wanda.
