Plan your day so that you can join them in their fun. Experience the exhileration that comes from a plunge into these refreshing waters and find new enthusiasm for the day's activities. Get In the Swim; Pool Open From 10 a.m.to7p.m. On the list of the days opportunities for fun and for stimulation is the Lincoln swimming pool. The water will be just right, clean and pure from Orems famous water supply. Dont be afraid it wont be too coldl. It has been tempered by the sunshine for a number of days and will be just right for that stimulating swim and relaxation which you will so much desire after a few hours of activity at the Carnival. The pool will be open at 10:00 a. m. and will remain open until 7:30 p. m. Trained attendants will be in charge. Remember, there is a small pool for the kiddies where they can bathe in comfort and safety. The water in the small pool is usually 5 degrees warmer than that in the large pool. The water is pure to begin with, and under the state regulations it is heavily chlorinated from day to safe, and day. It is perfectly should furnish you one hour's invigorating recreation during the day. Water Carnival (Continued .from SHOW one) divers from the Deseret Gymnasium and the University of Utah, under the direction - of Charles Welsh, nationally known swimming coach, will give spectacular exhibits of their ability and skill. Water Dances and Stunts A special dance act, touched with originality and cleverness is being prepared under the direction of Mi-- s Dayle Nelson. There will also be a Dance of the Water Nymphs with appropriate lighting effects, water dances, and stunts to keep ones nerves tingling. A group of beautiful young women from the Provo High School, uinder the direction of Dorothy Richmond, will present an especially fine act in pyramid building. All these attractions will be enhanced by the colorful lighting effects of the hugh spotlights and machines projection transported from the picture booth. All those who purchase dance tickets will be permitted to see these exhibitions from the floor of tiie dance pavilion. An electric smoothing machine has been used with good effect upon the floor. A barrel of borax spangles has been used in treating the floor so it will be equal to any dance floor in the county in smoothness. Cooled By Canyon Breeze These features, added to the beautiful grounds surrounding the pavilion will make it one of the most attractive spots for dancing in the state, and it cant be beat for coolness as it is directly in tbe path of the famous Irovo Canyon breeze. All he has to do is see his Sunday School superintendent and tell him what he wants to do and have his name placed on the list. 4 Bands to March There will be plenty of music in the parade. Four bands will participate. The famous band from Provo Maeser School will occupy an important place, as will the Pleasant bands from Lincoln, Grove and American Fork. The rv thin hand from Spencer school will also take an important place in the parade. Course of Parade The parade will form on the new highway immediately north of the swimming pool and will progress from that point south on the east side of the state highway which will be protected from traffic, to Church street, and from that point will travel eastward to a point near the Timpauogos chapel. From there it will go north ana will enter the high school campus where it will make its final display around the race track in front of the bleachers. By using this ree , everybody will have an opportunity to view the youngsters as they inarch. Tickets are now in the hands of ward workers who are using every effort to advance the standing of their candidates. Remember, the race is not to the swift, but to the one who endures to the end. There are many opportunities to place any one candidate to the front, and dont be surprised if some upsets are sprung in this contest. The Provo team known as Kings Wreckers won the Prochamvo Recreational League pionship, and is considered one of the best teams iiv the state. Softball is comparatively new in Sharon and the may be outclassed, but tt will furnish a wonderful exhibition game. Timp Grounds is -- , Arrangements have been made by the Carnival committee with the bishopric of the Timpanogos Ward to use the grounds adjacent to the Timpanogos chapel as a luncheon center for visitois. Tables and other acconjodalions will be provided under the trees and in the rear of the bailding, where families bringing their own lunch may gather during the lunch hour. Visitors are urged to use these facilities. However, if you do not bring your own lunch, there will be ample food supplies at the concessions to satisfy most appetites.
