Our plucky little Tigers met their first foe like real fighting REPORTERS their hardest to the very end. Incognito Day Initiated Senior Advisor Jr. High Advisor A very enjoyable program was sponsored Friday. January 7, the occasion being the. first Incognito Day of the school. Everyone dressed incognito, and the costumes pj eeented a greatly varied array. Incognito Day has replaced thq Nationality Day of former years at the school. The students may now disguise or costume themselves as anything wish. he-me- but they are loyal to the coaches and the student body. They are our Lincoln Boys and we are proud of them. Keep fighting boys 1 Lincoln Tigers To American Fork The opening basketball game held Friday Jan. 7, 1938, with the Lincoln's smaller Tigers pitted against American Forks huge Cavemen. Although the Tigers were terribly outglzed and the score was 12 to $7, they played an excellent game throughout. The game started off with a bang, with Christensen, Lincoln forward, making the opening score with Lincoln leading The score stayed this way for Just about S minutes and at the end of the first quarter the score was 2 to 6 for A. F. From this time on, American Fork lead the score, which at the half was 8 17. ' The sophomores lost a close game o American Fork sophomores, the score being 19 to 24. A dance followed the game and everyone had an enjoyable time. was 0. Schedule Arranged Our schedule has taken the long proposed change. School now begins at 8:15 each morning. The first fosrjilasses are held before we stop for) lunch at 11:30. At 12:00 school resumes until 3:30 when all are- - dismissed for the day. This change makes that last period of the day seem less Aong and tiresome to tired students and teachers. Students find that an extra halt hour added to the afternoon gives more time for outside activities. Day by Day Has anyone noticed how Bussio acta when the referee finally catches up with him and calls fourth personal foul on him? Anyone sitting near Lincolns coaching bench doesnt know whether theyre going to be knocked down or what Is to happen, for Bussio throws us his hands and says That's Me, and runs as hard as he can for the sidelines.'
