W Gates Vern Vernal l graduated from Uintah High School with a average He was senior class treasurer junior class president member of the National Honor Society Oklahoma Governors Governor's A AHonor AHonor AHonor Honor Society voted voted-an outstanding outstanding outstanding out out- standing student by Oklahoma State University Alumni Assoc lettered in football four years lettered in basketball three years lettered in track three years participated innumerous in innumerous innumerous numerous numerous scholastic achievement rallies earned fellowship of Christian Athletes and will attend the University of Utah this fall FRED BYERS DYERS son of Mr and Mrs Leland Byers Rangely will attend BYU this fall He has been a member of the National Honor Society for three years and has been Involved involved involved in in- in many other school activities such as holding various class offices offices' as well as serving as vice president of the student council during his junior year and president in his senior year He has actively participated in various athletics lettering in wrestling and football Mark P Pease ase son of Mr and Mrs W W. L L. L Pease will attend the Colorado School of Mines this fall He was a 1974 graduate at Uintah High School and received two scholarships from AIME prior to this year Mike Reinart son of Mr and Mrs Jerry Reinart will also attend the Colorado School of Mines this fall He is also a 1974 graduate of Uintah High School and has also received two scholarships from AIME The funds for the scholarships are e made possible through the annual Petroleum Days which are sponsored co-sponsored by the Ladies Petroleum Club This is a community effort with voluntary action from many organizations organizations' and Uintah Basin businesses The National AIME matches all funds presented by bythe bythe bythe the local chapter Each scholarship is Scott Weimer son of Mr and Mrs Sam Weimer will attend the University of Wyoming again this fall Scott was of a scholarship last year also He lie is a 1975 graduate of Uintah High School and is studying Petroleum engineering at the University of Wyoming a B B |
