their return home it was hoped by this plan to inject ct some liew blood into the club another matter ot of gr arve ye importance discussed vaa s that ot of memorial services both tor the bos who made the great supreme sacrifice for or their country and the many vernal people tailing victims ot of the influenza disease dl Bease it was thought that the tb club later aill hold a large memorial service lor for all who ho died and was unable to hold public funeral services tor for ahe 1 he erecting of a monument elther either at the court house or in the new federal building was proposed by and gentlemen I 1 take pleasure in offering the annual re ort of if tho the transactions and accomplishments ments ot of the vernal commercial club during the calendar year 1918 at our last annual meeting I 1 reported 84 live members during the present year we have lost several members at the same time having taken in a tow few new ones but at the close cloae of business today we have only 74 14 live ra members embers sixteen ot of these only are paid up to date the balance 68 owing various sums to the club from 1 3 to 3 30 0 each I 1 he sum total owing to club from members as dues lol hurst we finished paying tor for the motion pictures of this section which we now have in our pes possession session during the year we completed the balance of payment on our piano and thought that the deal was entirely loosed until recently when ilia kompany company notified me that an interest charge had bad been made all the way through and that we still owed them interest to the amount
