Show B8 Vernal Express Wednesday, May 28, 2003 VJH T7 students learn job skills at fair students at Careers Vernal Junior High School are being taught job interviewing and preparation skills in a unique mock job fair setting. Ten interviewers from various employment providers throughout the community came to interview students and assess their resumes and personal presentations during the interviewing process. Kach student participated in three interviews with different adults. Interviewers graded" each student on their resume, personal appearance, and mannerisms during the interview. The student could select the top two evaluations of their performance for grading. Interviewers were overheard frequently praising the young men and women for their preparation, and enthusiasm during the interview. All of the interviewers commented highly on the program and the work both teachers and students had put into this experience.
