The couple plan to make their home in Orem. and Daniel Nowell Nicole Hammond Darlington were married Stem March 17 aboard the Wheeler Rose out of Portland, Oregon. A reception dinner-danc- e was held in their honor on board following the wedding. The bride is the daughter of Linda and Bruce Thomas of Kamiah, Idaho, and the late Dr. Wayne A. Nowell, of Pendleton, Oregon. She is a 1997 graduate of Pendleton High School, and has received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Idaho in 2000. The groom is a 1997 graduate of Uintah High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in metallurthe from engineering gical University of Idaho in 2001. He is employed as a product engineer with the government group of Wah Chang Specialty Metals, Albany, Oregon. The couple plan to make their home in the Willamette Valley where the bride will attend law school in Eugene, Oregon. The theme of the fair this year is rights and responsibilities. Kristie and Chelise chose to demonstrate Kristie this theme by means of a short play in which they take on the role of nurses in a war zone during World WarU. The girls not only studied their own history books, they also gathinformation ered from other sources. They turned to an encyclopedia and sites on the internet. Youth Utah The Valley Symphony will perform a joint , concert with the Uintah School of ; Music and the Arts Orchestra , March 29 at 7 p.m. in the Vernal Middle School Auditorium. USOMATA is directed by Ora Fay Oviatt. Members of the orchestra are advanced students and staff members of USOMATA. The enrollment of the school includes musicians from the entire western slope from Rangely, Col. to Talmage. Western Uintah Basin musicians USOMATA with performing Orchestra are Robyn Earl, Sherstin Shaleena Hamblin, Hamblin, Kathy Hanbetg, Jessica Sorensen, Debbie DuCey, Marquita Slaugh and Megan McKee. The USOMATA Orchestra has performed throughout the Uintah Basin, Salt Lake City and Denver, Col. They have performed for three years in the Salt Lake Temple Square Christmas Concert Series.
