The walk raises money for people suffering with multiple sclerosis - a disease of the central nervous system that has no known cause or cure. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. at the Colton Pavilion and the walk will proceed at the Freestone Legacy Walking Park. Length of the walk is three miles. After the walk, lunch will be served to everyone. The Mayor's Own Team will be on hand again this year, along with many others, to raise fund for MS. The team has been the top fund raisers in the state for the past 1 2 years and walked for several years before that. The Mayor's Own Team name was taken from Leonard Heeney when he was mayor in 1990. One of the original team members, Clifta Corless retired two years ago. All team members feel that research is vital to conquering MS and work hard to gain sponsors. nil w tnm fm 0! i'mp ovm mm Stick Built, Site Delivered! 3550 E Hwy 40 - Ballard, Utah 722-3223 www.utcustomhomcs.com |
