letter MAESER special claD one of the largest funerals held in the maeser chapel WM mas that of dan hatch attended by his many friends and relatives on thursday of last week the services were under the direction cotlon of bishop lester bingham the elders quorum stood in a line on each side aide of the walk alk as LS the cortege passed to and from the services the rostrum tables and piano were bowers of beautiful potted plants and pieces and the casket which was sas entirely cover ed with floral offerings expressed the esteem and respect in which dan was held A male quartet jesus lover of he continued to get worse ile he was taken to salt lake where his parents were mere advised by leading physicians sicila ns to take him back east where the very best treatment could be hini him alter all fotr ange made tor for the trip it waa necessary for or claud another son to undergo an operation for appendicitis de them two da dass on oct 18 loran hatch accompanied by his uncle latch hatch underwent ft 16 very delicate and serious operation which lasted 5 13 12 1 3 2 hours for the removal of L tumor on n the brain the operation was waa successful and dan was doing as well as could be expected until ether pneumonia 9 et in which resulted in hla his death all that human aid could do was resented to but to no avail dan was a wry quiet young man and during his illness he never
