Show delegation tells cattle guard need T to commissioners at a regular meeting ol 01 uintah county commissioners held last week delegations from the willow creek and diamond mountain areas discussed with the commissioners the advantages of installing cattle guards in those areas installation of these guards would enable gates being used at present to be removed previous to the meeting the commissioners miss iners ners had invited representatives senta tives in the two areas to discuss the problem with them representing the willow creek area were willis stevens and harry tomlinson with ray sea searle rl bob shiner and zelph cald caldor er from diamond mountain the commissioners volunteered to pay half the expense of the guard installation in willow creek if the public would pay the other half owing to the poor representation ti on action was shelved on the diamond mountain area delegates made the request that he the diamond mountain road should be shortened by cutting oil off this side of the shiner road through to the sheep loading corral at brush creek the commissioners said they would furnish the machine operator and equipment if the delegation would furnish the operating cost the bridge at lapoint that was washed out in the recent flood will be replaced work was scheduled to begin last saturday anew A new bridge is planned on ashley creek between the massey ranch and the don wall ranch traffic will be detoured around the present location until a new bridge is installed which Is planned ned for J in about two weeks |
