Show roily water will greet fisherman on opening day warm weather Is causing the water in uintah county streams to torise dally daily which means fishermen will probably find the water roily on orf the opening of fishing season this saturday the season opens at 5 am there are no closed water in uintah county with the exception of high cintas which will open june 25 all water which is accessible to fish trucks in uintah county has been planted to the waters capacity according to game warden fred reynolds including the two brush creeks and mckee draw jones hole looks good as usual according to mr reynolds continued on page 8 ROILY WATER WILL continued from page 1 who expects a heavy flood of fishermen there if the water remains roily elsewhere in addition to the ones who will go by jeep and horseback into jones hole there will be several boat loads stop on their way down the green river daily bag and possession limits are again one and the same this year any properly licensed angler may take ten trout or seven pounds andor and or one fish whichever Is caught first this is a two fish reduction over recent years unlicensed resident children eleven years of age and younger may possess only four fish or three pounds during the current season the law requires resident children to be twelve years of age before purchasing an angling license nonresident non resident children must purchase a 4 five day permit or a 10 seasonal license to angle and may then possess a full limit of fish liberalized rules covering the use of baits allows angling with salmon eggs and many other materials terl te rials als meat liver and products containing same are still illegal to use as bait chumming of any kind remains illegal only three spinning blades may be used on any type tandem lure game fish may not be shipped at any time or by any means from frum the state nonresident non resident and resident alike may transport from the state only a possession limit of fish covered by the license they carry A pole or rod must be attended at all times when angling department spokesmen urged sportsmen to know the rules and regulations they noted the license must be worn visibly and asked the coop cooperation aeration of each angler afield during the coming season mr and mrs erland and family left vernal thursday morning for a week vacation in southern utah |
