Members of the team and people from the general public suggested several names to be voted on. The name that was chosen by vote was the Aces". Douglas Barnett was elected team captain. Kenyon Clark, team instructor said, The club was formed because of a growing interest in the sport. The club has the possibility of becoming a tennis power in the future. Kearns now has the facilities and the people to do this." The team consists of boys and girls ages 9 through 18. Mr. Clark suggested that if any boy or girl is interested in playing tennis for the community to contact him.
