There were exhibits by elementary schools throughout the state. HUNTER KEARNS Mrs. Glora Parkin, Girl Scout director, presents the Senior Scout Troop with Friendship Pins sent to them by the Senior Troop of the California troop that visited here during the summer. Girls Something new is scheduled to have its beginning in the near future at the West Kearns School. This will be a boot exchange among the students. It is planned to help the parents. On a given day, students will bring their winter boots of last year, and exchange them with other students that may have boots of a larger size that will fit. It is a problem to parents every year to outfit their children in winter boots just because last years boots do not fit and yet are in good condition. It is hoped that this plan will help ease the problem. Watch for further information on this program to appear at a later date. receiving the pins from left to right are: Loretta Whittle, Vickie Eaton, Betty Jar Amillo, Jeanie Petersen, and Sandra Burton.
