The Primary Parade is planned for the afternoon, with concessions, tractor races, a horse contest, booths and refreshments for everyone. clubs returned home Many this week full of excitement after their outing in Big Cottonwood Canyon at the Spruces. The older clubs left early Monday morning and returned Wednesday afternoon. The younger clubs left Wednesday morning and returned home Thursday afternoon. While there, they studied nature, handicraft, and enjoyed recreation and cooking outdoors. 4-- H Bud and Granetta nad Terry Breeze of Bennion, returned home after a weeks vacation through the Northwest. They visited Oregon, Washington, Canada, and California, before returning home. They visited the saw mill in Washington and journeyed on a Swedish freighter, and watched the unloading of new automobiles. They also traveled on an ocean voyage to British Columbia. On their way home they took the Coastal Highway and visited the Redwood forests in California. Many students from the Bennion area are getting ready for the annual County Recreation Dance Festival. The smaller children are very excited over their pretty costumes. Connie Cooper of Hunter is the dancing teacher, children in the smaller classes are Jennie Joy and Lorraine Trena Olsen, Olson, Christie and Cindy Bennion, Laura-le- e and Lisa Blake, and Debbie and Rusty Morrill. Handicraft is attracting many children from the surrounding areas, too. A group of women enjoyed a demonstration at the Utah Power '& Light Co. last week. They enjoyed many hints on barbecuing. Jon Lee of Utah Power and Light showed the group ways of fixing salads, deserts, meats, appetizers, and Chinese foods.
