The Shoot drew visitors from all over Utah and the Western States. In the two days, three golf courses were shot, with high winners going to Evelyn Baldridge, of Yakima, Wash., in the Womens division, and Gerald Gunderson of Salt Lake City, winner of the mens division. Such a cause may be in the far future, but at any rate must be prepared for in advance. Therefore volunteers must also have been already arranged for. If there is any one who feels they could avail themselves for such a program, it would be appreciated if they would make themselves known. Memorial services were conducted at the Wasatch Lawn Memoria Park on Decoration Day by the DAV. Flags were placed on the graves in the morning and a memorial service was held at 5:30 p.m. in the evening. Members of the Magna DAV Auxiliary carried out their monthly ward party at the Veterans Hospita by taking them refreshments anc entertainment.
