KEARNS NEWS The Kearns National League will hold their Queens Coronation Ball at the Catholic Recreation Hall Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. Tickets are now on sale. The admission is 50 cents or $1 per couple. The Kearns Jaycees attended the Travel Trophy held in Layton on 'Saturday, Jan. 21. The evening consisted of dinner, dancing and a program followed by more dancing. All but one member of the club was present, giving the club 95 attendance for second place. The Kearns Lions Club held a meeting Monday evening at the Kearns Medical Center. The meeting was planned in accordance with the Founders and Rededica tion month. The month of January has been set aside by Lions International to honor the founders of Lionism and to give the members an opportunity to rededicate themselves to the aims and purposes of Lionism. Special tribute was paid to Glenn Sarbo, a charter member of the Kearns Lions Club. He was presented with an engraved Lion trophy on behalf of the club for his faithful dedication to Lionism, by President Bert Gaillard.
