Show Thursday, May 12, I960 THE VALLEY KEARNS School News Oquirrh Hills Excitement is running high at the Oquirrh Hills Elementary School as in all schools at this time of the year. The students are putting the finishing touches on school projects and are now looking forward to a final gala affair the Spring Dance Festival. All the youngsters have had a part in the preparations for this event. They have done research work on the dances to be presented and have found that Americas dance art, like the great nation itself, is the result of many peoples from many lands. It is hoped that many will parents join their children and friends for an evening of entertainment and fun. planned. South Kearns The fourth grade students of the South Kearns Elementary School went on a field trip last Monday. After a tour through the D.U.P. museum and the University of Utah Geology Museum the group enjoyed their lunch at Liberty Park. They all felt that it was a very educational and enjoyable trip. The second grades at South Kearns are making plans for their field trip next Monday. They plan to visit the Winder Dairy and Bakery.
