Few, if any, Montreal visitors miss a visit to Bonsecours, where farmers from the surrounding countryside bring their produce to sell to restaurants, hotels, markets and housewives alike. Kearns Jr. High And Craft Class To SponorArts WedAfter school every Monday, nesday, Thursday, and Friday, from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., the County Recreation is sponsoring an Arts and Crafts Class. Copper and metal tooling Copper enameling Leather Tooling If you wish your child to participate he may in the art room no. 124. It is not necessary to attend every afternoon. There will be a charge for material used only. Gourley Announces Founders' Day Events The David Gourley Founders Day program will.be held Sunday, Feb. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the multipurpose room of the school. The program will be under the direction of Mrs. Donald Poulsen, program chairman. She will be assisted by Mrs. Charles D. Phelps, Mrs. J. Grant Olsen, and Mrs. Ernest Wessman, Founders Day chairman. Mrs. Poulsen stated that special guest for the event will be Ann Mari Josefson, American field exchange student, who will speak of her homeland and also show films of her country. Four third grade classes under the direction of Lorelle Yorganson, Jacqueline Jacobs, Sherrill Gardner and Geneil Tobler, will present musical and dance selections as part of the program. Refreshments will be furnished by the various room mothers. A large bank in the form of a birthday cake will be on display, in which guests will be given the opportunity to contribute to the state and national PTA program. A cake sale will also be held during the course of the evening. Trane Company to Build Four Million Dollar Plant in Kearns It was announced this week that Kearns had been picked as the site for the million dollar plant of Trane Co. The company will manufacture air conditioning units for distribution in the western states. The plant will be located in the warehouse area at 5000 W. 4715 South and is anticipated to employ between 60 and 100 persons, at the 60,000 square foot building that the company hopes to have in operation before- - next year. r far away? Peter Pilot, Pastor of First Assembly of Salt Lake will instruct the course entitled The Church Begins. The training goal is Every Christian a worker and every worker trained.
