In turn, the Recreation Foundation will approach the Salt Lake County Recreation Board to see if it is possible to have the public pool in Kearns revert back to the community of Kearns. If not possible, research will be conducted to see if funds obtained from admission to the pool can be held in the community for producing further recreation facilities. The safety program of the Town Council sponsored in the Kearns Junior High and in the Granger High School, in which the youths were to make safety posters, is nearing completion. Posters made by the students will be displayed in the various stores in Kearns, accompanied with ballots by which the citizens of the community may cast, their vote for the best poster. Winners will be selected Thursday, March 1C. by the counting of ballots, and announced.
