Abel was joined by fellow filmmaker Ryan Little, w h o , along with Abel, owns the production company GoFilms. ' Abel and Little broke into the film industry with the release of their film "Saints and Soliders," a low budget independent film that screened for the first time in the same week Abel walked in graduation at UVU. T h e independent film was shot in a mere 30 days, along with its low budget of just under one million dollars. Forever Strong, filmed with a commercial appeal as opposed to the independent feel of Saints and Soldiers, stars recognizable actors such as Sean Astin, Gary Cole and Sean Faris.
