"The extension of the payment deadline will be very beneficial for students who have financial aid and have completed their paperwork on time," UVSC Registrar LuAnn Smith said. "However, it can be very expensive for a student who procrastinates." January 18, 2006 is the new tuition/fee payment deadline for full semester length classes. January 19, students with unpaid tuition/fee balances will be charged an additional late fee of 20 percent of their outstanding balances, not to exceed $100. January 26, students with outstanding tuition/fee balances will be dropped from enrollment in all classes they are currently attending. In order to gain reinstatement into dropped classes, students will have to pay their outstanding tuition/fee balance in full, a 20 percent late fee (not to exceed $100), and a $50 reinstatement fee. The registration department is encouraging students to review the updated payment deadlines carefully. "Students who have a tuition balance as of January 6, 2006 will be notified of the payment deadlines," Smith said. "Students are encouraged to maintain an accurate address in the Banner System and to either read their e-mail in UV Link or have those emails forwarded to their personal email addresses." • "The Cram/' 6 am, SC 206 a-e Visit the California Pizza Kitchen st Oram's University Mali, and we'll give you 20% off your bill when you show us your student ID, That's 20% off on our one-of-klnd pizzas, pastas, salads, appetizers and desserts, Isn't college life great? • Reading Day, No class Show your student ID and receive 20% off your CPK bill. • Alumni Pre-Game Fan Party, 11 am, Wells Fargo ArenaTern pe Arizona the college lime/ Editor-in-Chief Ryan Meeks Executive Editor John Ditzler Copy Editor Valerie Porter Layout Editor Jessica Ellsworth Your News Editor Errin Julkunen Your Opinions Editor Joe Vogel Your Life Editor Michelle Lee Sports Editor Morgan Vance Special Sections Editor Pete Walters Photo Editor Spring tuition deadline extended John Ditzler • Plan 10 from Outer Space, 7 pm, CS 404 • "The Cram/' 11:59, SC 206 a-e Valley State could continue to see a rise in the number of students that return, new students attending a school that already has an enrollment of over 23,000 in 2003, and achieve greater future enrollment.
