An international signpost will feature eight different signs showing the relative distance and direction of 16 different countries including Japan, Ghana and Spain. The signpost will be unveiled at noon on Jan. 19 at UVSC's Activity Center. President Sederburg and Vice President Bradley Cook will provide an administrative presence at the event. Louis Chidziva, the president of UVSC's International student center, will also provide remarks. The signpost is sponsored by the Butler Institute for International Understanding. The event is free and open to the public. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Jan. 11-12 This 2-day commemoration includes the Keynote Speaker, John Echohawk at I I a.m., and the Repertory Dance Theatre will have an evening of dance celebrating diversity and human rights at 7 p.m. : in the Ragan Theater on Jan. The Opening Dance at the Institute LDSSA invites any students to their free opening dance from 9 p.m. to Midnight in the Institute Cultural Hall. There will also be Latin Dancing held in the Lounge. "I haven't noticed anyone donating since I started work," say Johansen. Both employees said they have donated a little, but there wasn't a lot of people even noticing the containers. Limb also said that "It has been here since Monday, and I don't think they have had to empty it yet." These canisters were not arranged by the school, but are there by a voluntary student action.
