D. 8. church, with headquarters in West Virginia. He espects to leave Feb. IS. He father, about IB years ago, filled a mission in this same state, and while there at that time met Miss Emma Kitchen, a native of West Virginia, who later became his wife, and the mother of Elmer. Now their son goes hack to the old mission field of his parents and will carry the message of the gospel to the descendants of their old friends. Mr. Riding has a record of fine service in his home ward, having served for four years as Y. M. M. I. A. secretary, and having the top record of Sharon stake for promptness in sending in monthly reports during those years. He Is a graduate of the Lincoln high school, and has attended B. Y.
