There is such a tendency for mortals to become so engrossed in the aspects of life that they neglect the more permanent and phases of their existence We all need the support of an uplifting influence to keep us from falling into the rut of our daily activities and becoming covered up by the trivialities of our occupation fellow-Alum- ni Proprietor er soul-elevati- ng As A C Alumni we are rep- EYE STRAIN Docs Not It need scarcely be urged that members of the Alumni Association consider carefully the amendment to the constitution that will be submitted to them for approval soon before casting their vote for or against the amendment While the Alumni Association in the past has been by no means a failure and has mean that your eyes are resentatives of the glorious West There Nature has set us a splendid example of works executed on the grandest of scales There the mountains raise their heads in noble fashion and invitingly point the way to a broad zation makes it imperative that if any association exist at all the local members must take the iniative One of the main ob- jects to be attained by the adoption of the proposed amendment is to so distribute authority and to responsibility according classes and to locality that every member of the association will feel himself or herself directly represented by the officials of the organization In this way a greater unity will be produced and the association can then outline and carry out policies of great benefit to the school with the sanction and of the entire association Some members may be opposed to the adoption of the constitutional amendment suggested by which a change is contemplated in the organization of the Alumni Association Such members while voting against this amendment should not fail to vote for members to compose the first Alumni Council If the amendment should pass in spile of their negative votes they would want to have a voice in the election of the Council Therefore vote for five members from each group of names even though you vote “no” on the amendment v-sista- nce dis- eased — it moans simply that you’ve used them too much by constant reading or too close application at work and brought on EYE STRAIN in consequence The rleief is simple and sure — viz our EXAMINATION of the EYES and Glasses to strengthen the nerve force Why not see us to-da- t 4 ! y?
